SoHomie #1 is our official SoHo Soaper pace car….yours does not need to be this fancy. We will use this car for demonstrations, parades and to build the SoHo brand across London.

This event has just two purposes;

1. To re-introduce SoHo to London

2. To encourage youth to imagine and commit to a task. Build memories that will last a life time.

A soaper can be built from anything and often takes less than a half a sheet of plywood

This will give you details to consider for your Soaper!

Buy your Go-Kit

Have old lawnmower wheels and some scrap wood you too can build a soaper! Remember to find a way to stop your soaper. A drop arm like shown below (item i) can have a piece of rubber attached to the bottom to help drag along the ground when stopping.

Build your soap box long enough and limit the ability to over turn (item H). These two things will keep you going straight down South Street hill towards the finish line.

Make sure to paint your soaper showing your Canadian Pride.
