With Tanya Park moving on to City Council, the SoHo Community Association, and our Secretary and Treasurer positions having recently becoming vacant, we are holding an election to fill these positions.
Laurie Bursch will continue to be our Vice President. Nancy Hamm ran unopposed for the position of Treasurer, and Jamie Edwards ran unopposed for Secretary. We thank Kim Buset and Peter Karas for their service respectively in these roles previously.
We have two candidates for the position of President. Cheri McLeod and Derrick McBurney. Cheri attended our November 19th meeting and gave a presentation:
Derrick was not present at the meeting.
A secret ballot was conducted, but the decision was made to extend the election until December 1st, allowing online voting for those who were unable to attend.
